The Mud House has a diverse selection of award winning Mud House & Waipara Hills wines waiting to be explored. We welcome you to stop by our friendly tasting room where you can indulge your senses and learn more about the wine regions we favour from our knowledgeable staff.
When you’ve found your favourite wine, you can purchase a few bottles (or cases!) to take home or head through to our café and enjoy a glass or two over a relaxing lunch from our wild menu.
If you can’t visit our cellar door, this is the next best thing! Place your order online and we’ll send your wine directly to you.

2010 Vintage Tour - April 6th to 11th May
A rare opportunity to see the winery in full swing; this is the business time of the year where all the sweat and tears over the past year come to a head..this is what wine-making is all about. It’s the 2010 Vintage and we are offering you a sneak peak of what goes on behind the scenes.
It’s a noisy time and stress levels are generally high for those involved but you can sit back and watch the magic as its created. Taste juice directly from the tanks, watch the grapes arrive from harvest and meet the winemaker to hear his thoughts on how the 2010 vintage is shaping up.
This is exciting even for us and we can’t wait to share this time with you…to book please phone 03 314 6900. Tours Daily 11am and 3pm. Allow 1 hour. Children under 12 are not permitted due to safety reasons. Bookings are recommended but not essential.
*Our wine-maker will not always be available, in this case an assistant wine-maker will be available.
