VINTAGE CONDITIONS

An unusually wet February and early March had us a little worried at the beginning of the season. However the weather gods were on our side and seven weeks of near perfect weather followed through to harvest. The warm days and cool nights in April presented ideal ripening conditions for Gewürztraminer. The grapes ripened slowly giving us fantastic acid structure and plenty of vibrant flavours.
